Paul R Moss, D.C.
The purpose of our clinic is to support as many people as possible in their quest for health and to educate them about Chiropractic so they may, in turn, educate others.
Dr. Moss is a native of Ankeny, Iowa. He is a member of the non-profit Foundation for Wellness Professionals and has been interviewed on both television and radio. Dr. Moss, like many of us, was not healthy as a child. While he was very active and participated in many sports, he suffered from sinusitis and severe headaches. His condition was severe enough to put him in the Children's Hospital of Omaha. While running high school track Dr. Moss was injured. He was taken to see Dr. Sherry Durrett in Houston, Texas. While he expected his injury to improve under Chiropractic care, what amazed him was that his sinusitis and headaches were gone. This is what initially got him interested in Chiropractic.
Later, through years of working for Dr. Durrett, he witnessed literally hundreds of cases of people with a myriad of health conditions respond to Chiropractic care and Applied Kinesiology. Eventually, he no longer was content in being just part of the team. He wanted to be the Chiropractor.
After College, he went to Palmer College of Chiropractic where he was the Applied Kinesiology club president for 3 years. Dr. Moss studied Kinesiology and was certified in August 2001. Once certified, he was a workshop assistant in Dr. Hogg's Applied Kinesiology class until 2003.
Dr. Moss graduated from Palmer in February 2004 and immediately set out begin a practice in his hometown of Ankeny. Nothing could be more fulfilling to him than to be able to make a difference in the health of his community. In addition to making a difference in the health of our community and beyond, he regularly volunteers at our home church Ankeny First United Methodist. Those volunteer activities include singing, helping to lead worship, offering words of witness, leading Bible study, sound tech, nursery care, and grade school education.
We are a family friendly practice. We offer quality, affordable care for the whole family. Our purpose is to support as many people as possible in their quest for health and to educate them about Chiropractic so they may, in turn, educate others.
We offer a choice between relief care and corrective care. Family plans are available.
